Question by Fire and Flames: How many rpg rounds does it take to blow up a tank?
Let’s say you were between one and two hundred feet away, how many rpg rounds would it take to blow up, or at least cripple it to the point where it could no longer be used, a modern U.S. tank? I would prefer someone with a military background or someone who is heavily experienced and knowledgeable with armored vehicles and/or explosives to answer. Thank you.

Rocket propelled grenade probably would not stop a U.S. tank. When I was in Desert Storm in 1990 the Iraqis thought they could fight U.S. tanks with their tanks. In a couple of hours they didn’t have any tanks anymore. Well, part of the reason was that ours had a much longer range so we just stood outside of their range and blasted theirs.
